Unbound Dance Day

Most of us have learned like a new type of ballet and how to you know express ourselves more in creativity and everything
— Unbound participant

McNicol Ballet Collective’s Unbound Dance Day is a unique experience for young people interested in a career in ballet. It takes place at Hull New Theatre and offers a whole day of on stage masterclasses with professional dancers, Q&A sessions with the company and the chance to experience a live, working rehearsal of current repertoire for the company’s upcoming productions.

It’s a really different style of ballet to what I’m used to so it’s definitely broadened my knowledge of what ballet can be

Digital Hub

We are delighted to be working with the I AM Fund that share our values to promote diversity and inclusion within performing arts by sponsoring the development of the Digital Hub - a new and dynamic resource on our website for teachers, students, parents, and young creatives of the future wanting to learn new skills.

The Digital Hub will include educational content, original dance films, interviews, captured stage performances, Q&A sessions, and workshops across the arts disciplines, led by the inspiring range artists who collaborate with the MBC. Initially the focus will be on developing online experiences that are tailored and in response to those who use the resource.
